Trauma-Informed Care Training (Day 1)

MTAA is happy to bring you another round of trauma-informed training! Equipping afterschool staff with the knowledge of how to be trauma informed and responsive can play a vital role in not only identifying a need for trauma and mental health related intervention and treatment, but can also be a valuable treatment option for children and youth not so engaged; particularly during this time of social distancing and into the future as we begin to loosen the current requirements.

The course consists of two 4 hour in-person sessions with pre-readings and assignments prior to each session, totaling approximately 15 hours of training. The cost of training is $75, and there are a limited number of scholarships available. The dates of training will be Friday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 16.
